Find OSF Projects

This shiny app provides easy access to a single function of Metacheck . Metacheck is open source software to check manuscripts for best practices developed by Lisa DeBruine and Daniel Lakens. You can use this app to download (private) OSF repositories.

Enter an OSF user ID to list everything they have, or a project ID to download just that project. A full OSF web address works too.

OSF Token

A token is only needed for private projects, and it raises the limit from 100 requests an hour to 10,000 a day. Create one at osf.io/settings/tokens with the osf.full_read scope. It is used for this session only and is not written to disk.

What to take

Everything, as fast as the OSF allows (one archive per component)

Running metacheck yourself gets you everything, including files kept on a linked GitHub or Dropbox account, which are not part of the OSF archive. It also lets you archive what you download on Zenodo. See Archiving an OSF Account on Zenodo in the Metacheck Manual.
